The Allegheny Health Network (AHN) Office of Development aimed to highlight a powerful donor story in their Impact Report showcasing the Embrescia family’s journey and commitment to giving. The video, created by Graphcom, features Jessica Embrescia, DO, an AHN employee, and her husband, Mike, sharing the story of their daughter Gianna’s birth at Jefferson Hospital and her month-long stay in the NICU at West Penn Hospital due to complications.
Inspired by the exceptional care their family received, the Embrescias made a meaningful gift to support other NICU families and committed to giving annually on Gianna’s birthday to support the West Penn NICU. Their story demonstrates how personal experience with outstanding healthcare transforms patients and families into passionate advocates and supporters.
