Graphcom Promotes VP of Creative & Creative Director
New VP on the Block
Graphcom is thrilled to announce the recent promotions of Troy Dean as vice president of creative services and Kelly Brooks as creative director.
Troy was appointed vice president of creative earlier after having founded Graphcom’s creative division in 2009. Over the course of the last six years, Dean has grown both the staff and capabilities of Graphcom Creative to encompass print design, web design and development, mobile app development, photography, writing, event planning, and search engine marketing.
New Work Flow in Creative Division
In his new role, Troy will continue providing an authoritative voice on advertising, marketing, and communications to Graphcom’s growing clientele. Dean is a past-president of the American Advertising Federation-Greater Frederick and the Blue Ridge chapter of AIGA (the professional association for design). He has a degree from the Art Institute of York.
Kelly joined the Graphcom family in 2013 as a copywriter/editor. She worked her way up to editorial director before being promoted to creative director this summer. From meeting with prospective clients to finding the best solutions for their needs, Brooks will take creative concepts from idea to market in her new position.
Before joining Graphcom Creative, Kelly served as the award-winning editor of Johns Hopkins Nursing and Be Well magazines. She holds economic degrees from both American University and Hood College.
“We’re all very excited to have both Troy and Kelly on board in their new positions,” said Graphcom President Matt Livelsberger. “They’re both incredibly talented and have a knack for solving complex marketing problems in creative ways. We’re strong believers in promoting from within, and both Troy and Kelly have distinguished themselves as the obvious choices to lead Graphcom’s creative division moving forward.”
