Graphcom Awarded Silver Davey for PHFA Annual Report

by | Nov 8, 2013

Graphcom recently garnered a 2013 Silver Davey Award for creative design of the Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency (PHFA) 2012 Annual Report “Looking Back, Moving Forward.” The annual report was one of nearly 4,000 entries from the best small firms in the world the International Academy of the Visual Arts (IAVA) considered when selecting the award-winning projects for the Ninth Annual International Davey Awards for 2013.

“It is phenomenal for Graphcom to have our work recognized on this international scale and we’re honored to have been selected for the Silver Davey Award this year,” said Creative Director Troy Dean. “We are equally grateful to everyone at PHFA for the opportunity to create outstanding, visually dynamic annual reports that capture the mission of their organization and their vision for the future. We look forward to working with PHFA again on the design of this year’s annual report.”

The IAVA unites leading professionals from several disciplines of the visual arts in support of embracing progress and the evolving nature of traditional and interactive media, including advertising, print, film and television. The Davey Award statuette, inspired by a modern interpretation of the Biblical account of David and Goliath, is produced by the same firm that creates the Golden Globe® Awards.

The Silver Davey Award is the second award Graphcom has received for design of the PHFA “Looking Back, Moving Forward” annual report. Graphcom received a Gold Hermes Creative Award from the Association of Marketing and Communications Professionals earlier this year.
